We abide by the four agreements:
Be impeccable with your word.
Don’t take anything personally.
Don’t make assumptions.
Always do your best.
I’m not in the business of stealing your design ideas, gossiping about what went down at your fitting, or answering that obnoxious question “what are they like??” about your artist.
I don’t take your opinions personally. This means I want your honest feedback of whether we nailed it or not. If something doesn’t fit you or your client properly, it’s up to you to speak up. We go by how things look and have no idea how it feels because we’re not the ones wearing it. If you can communicate what you want, we can get it done.
If you’re not happy with the fit or look of a finished piece, it’s up to you to communicate this within 48 hours so that we can correct it. If you reach out to us outside of that window, you will be billed the current hourly rate for the correction as it will be treated like a new project.
We always give our best given time and budget constraints, but it’s always amazing how many interpretations there can be of a single sketch. In order to make you happy, please provide as many specifics as possible in your initial custom consultation. If you bring your own design or base piece to us for decoration or manufacturing and insist on using certain textiles, we cannot stand by the finished garment’s durability or lifespan.
Allowing us to choose the the textiles and contribute/make tweaks to the design will ensure that you’re happy with the finished piece. Trust me, we’re good at this. Sometimes a different textile takes more time to arrive - it will still be faster (and more economical) than asking us to use ‘whatever’s onhand’ or cheapest.
Costume wear and tear is expected. The road can be hard on pieces, and at some point, your garments are going to need repair. It’s tough to tell how long it will take without seeing it in person, so we charge hourly for repairs and will quote you a timeframe upfront once we receive the item.
Thanks for understanding! We’ll be in touch soon.
