Imagine you best year…

Pen to paper, friend, LET’S GO.

Close your eyes and think about your life a year from now, just one year. And you just had the BEST year of your life.

What did you see?

Did you work more or less?

Did you have a year full of amazing clients, or a waiting list of customers who want to buy the things you create?

Or maybe you saw a better balanced life where you’re getting paid fairly for the tedious work you’re doing, and the long nights hunched over your work, and you’re able to close the door on your work at night and know that you used the talents you’ve been given the best that you could. You know that when you start back tomorrow, you work in peace, because your client is on the same page as you, you’re being paid fairly and on-time, and more work is coming your way.

Doesn’t that sound amazing?? That’s what the best year of my life looked like.

They say 80% of your success comes from 20% of your activities - have you thought about what’s actually moving the needle in your life and business?  Oftentimes, it’s not the thing we spend 80% of our energy doing. Sometimes, when we write out the things we spend all our time doing, and just how $much those things are earning us, we realize that the one thing on the list that takes 20% of our time actually has the potential to propel us forward… more than the other 80%.

For 2020 to be your best year yet.. let’s prioritize to grow and find your needle movers.

What one thing do you make that people get curious and excited about?

  1. Write down three things you’re going to have to do to get you closer to the best year of your life that you just envisioned.

  2. Write down three ‘super skills’ within your craft that people say you’re good at.

  3. What one thing could you do to move the needle within the next 30 days, using one of these super skills?

See, we tend to spin ourselves in circles, hard at work on our lists, never acknowledging that highly productive idea or task that drives real profits and success in our lives, because we’ve made ourselves too busy with the busy bee work.

Your needle-movers have the potential to become your superpower. Creative businesses that thrive are winning because the person behind the wheel is operating in their genius and focusing on that one thing. Speak what you seek, until you see what you said!

Add that to your to-do list today, friend, and in 30 days I want you to let me know how it went (comment below, I’m cheering you on!).
